It's been so nice to have warm weather and sunshine the past few days! I hadn't been to the park with Oliver and Avery since the Fall, so it was really nice to go for some nice walks this week. We even put Avery in the swing and she loved it!
This makes me so excited for Spring and Summer. We live within very close walking distance to a nice big park with a walking path and play equipment and one of the city pools is just down the street. Avery already has 3 swimsuits! I'd better get myself ready for my swimsuit, too!
We got to go today and meet our friends' precious new baby girl. She is just 3 days old! Being with them and talking about their first days as a family of 3 has brought back so many wonderful memories of our first days as parents. I can't believe how much Avery has grown and changed in nearly 9 short months. She looked so big next to the brand new baby! While we were there visiting, I felt her first tooth starting to poke through her gums. She's pulling herself up on furniture and rocking on those hands and knees -- getting ready to crawl. Exciting days ahead for our house...
Braxton actually was home this weekend. It was great. He did so much to help me with Avery so I could sleep and he still managed to do laundry and get the car cleaned out. What a stud! Speaking of laundry, I should stop doing this and help him fold and put away the clean clothes.
