We started our day early with Mommy's alarm clock going off at 6 AM! (A time rarely seen by the members of our house.) Avery woke soon after and we went strong all day long.
We went to the early service at church. Daddy only complained once (or twice) about our matching outfits. Mommy admits that it was kinda cheesy, but still thinks it was really cute -- especially for Avery's first Easter.
After church, we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a wonderful lunch with both sides of our family. It was wonderful to all be together.

Avery "opened" her Easter basket, but enjoyed the filling more than any toys or gifts. How typical!
Avery seemed to enjoy the day and tolerated to extra excitment and lack of good naps surprisingly well. She even left her bonnet on!
We had a wonderful day, celebrating our risen Lord!
