Wow! I know I'll probably keep saying this, but I can't believe how big Avery is getting and how fast time seems to be flying by. It amazes me how much she is growing and learning every day.
The last few days Avery has really been figuring out getting food to her mouth. She will feed herself bananas, Cheerios, green beans,and crackers to name a few. She has also been "practicing" using a spoon. Sometimes while I'm working on getting dinner cleaned up, I'll give her a spoon and for a long time she just used it to bang on her tray. The last few days, though, I noticed she's been putting it into her mouth.
This morning, while I was feeding her her oatmeal, I handed her the spoon.
After a few misses and spills...
She finally figured it out!
