Remembering...

Avery's birthday is almost here! Actually, it's after midnight, so I guess technically, "Happy Birthday, Avery Dawn!" As this big day has been approaching I've been thinking a lot about what I was doing a year ago besides waiting and waiting and waiting for my baby to arrive. Those memories seem so long ago.

A friend of my got married three days after my due date last year. I kept wondering, will I be able to make it to her wedding. I was so glad I was able to be there, although, I had been hoping it would be with a baby in my arms rather than still in my belly, but oh well! I asked Amy to send me some of the wedding pictures to see just how big my belly was at 40+ weeks pregnant (since by that time I had refused any pictures from the neck down!). It was kinda fun to look back and remember being pregnant - no matter how uncomfortable and hot I was most of the time. Check it out...I even managed to wear high heels that day!
