Kitchen Construction

After lots of online research and a "day trip" to Topeka to get one of the few Little Tikes Ultimate Wooden Kitchens left in the KC area, I finally got Avery her special Christmas gift from mommy and daddy and both sets of her grandparents.

I knew from reading the online reviews that putting this kitchen set together would take about 3 hours (a fact that I may have not mentioned to Braxton until after I bought it!). My youngest brother, Stuart is spending the weekend with us, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for Braxton to have a second set of helpful hands and get this put together.

Two hours after the start of construction...

After about two and a half hours, it's all done! I can't wait to see Avery "open" her kitchen on Christmas morning! She's going to have so much fun!
