Weekend Update

Well it's been a wonderful week as Auntie, Uncle and Big Cousin! I enjoyed spending some quality time at the hospital with Hadley and her mommy and daddy and tried to be helpful! Because Avery had been sick last week she did not get a chance to meet baby Hadley in the hospital.


Sunday afternoon, we went to Hadley's house to take lunch. Avery got to meet Hadley "from a distance!" No touching, holding or kissing because she was still sick.
Sunday night, we celebrated the Super Bowl by having a few couples from church over to celebrate the big game! One of Avery's nursery friends came too (with his parents of course!), so Avery and Jevin were able to have some fun and learn a few lessons about sharing. :)

After the game, I went over to be with Hadley and spend some of the "overnight-hours" on baby duty so her mommy and daddy could get some much needed rest. I loved getting some snuggle time with Hadley!

Monday night, we took dinner to the new family and Avery was finally feeling a bit better. Mommy was holding Hadley and asked Avery to give the baby a kiss, so Avery leaned in and rested her head on Hadley...it was precious!
