An Update.

Our family has experienced a bit of change the past few weeks. A week ago Friday, Braxton was let go from his job. As with so many who lose their jobs, we are left feeling a little uncertain and concerned, but most of all we are trusting God for His perfect provision for our future. We are grateful for the love and support of friends and family, who are continually encouraging and blessing us in so many ways.

Of course Avery continues to be a source of delight and joy. She's just so stinkin' cute! We've laughed so much at her little sayings and expressions lately. She and Daddy have enjoyed some quality time at home together - another blessing in the midst of this difficult time.

This weekend we enjoyed celebrating Avery's friend, Ellie's first birthday. Avery and Ellie are nine months apart and it's always so fun to have these girls together. Ellie took it all in and seemed to enjoy her yummy cake...Avery definitely enjoyed her cupcake and tried to show Ellie some tips for cake eating!


Cousin Hadley is already a month old! She is getting bigger, but is still beautiful. Avery's still getting used to Momo lovin' on another baby, but Avery's learning to love on Hadley too. These pictures of Avery and Hadley are from this past Sunday when we had lunch at Momo and Papa's house.
