Avery is really happy in her new room. I love that it has so much play space and almost all of her toys are organized in her room instead of in my living room!
Sleeping in a big bed has been a very smooth transition. I wasn't sure how it would go moving her from her crib into a twin bed without any sort of rail. She's really done surprisingly well. We've only fallen out of bed once and it's only been a handful of times that I've found her playing with toys instead of taking a nap!
Do you like my crafty moment? I'm not a crafter by any means, but I made this art display for Avery's room from a clearanced picture frame, small piece of fabric, ribbons and clothes pins. Turned out pretty cute and I'm glad to have a place to display her art work in her room.
Here is, hopefully, the last pregnant picture at 39+4 weeks! Everyday could be "the" day...and several times this past week I've thought labor could be close. But so far, no luck! On one hand, I'm so ready to not be pregnant anymore and to meet our little girl, but at the same time I'm really aware of the fact that life won't get any easier once this little one arrives. I'm just praying for a smooth delivery, healthy baby and easy transition to a family of four - especially for Miss Avery.
Avery had another funny this week. One morning she came into our room and was telling me it was time for breakfast. I rolled over and threw the covers off my very round belly. Avery's eyes got wide and she said, "Whoa, that's a big belly, mom!" Even a two year old knows it's time for this baby to come out!
Stay tuned...hoping to announce the arrival of baby sister soon!
