The End of Three

Well, today was our last day as a family of three. I had my last night of work Monday night and was lucky enough to come home early, so Avery, Braxton and I could spend some time together today. We didn't do anything too exciting. Cleaning and last minute packing. Then we took Avery to lunch at Chick-fil-A...her fave! My sweet girl and I laid down together for a long, snuggly nap on this rainy afternoon - and it was perfect!


This evening, we dropped her off at Momo's house as we headed to the hospital. Of course, we took a few moments for some last family of three pics and a final belly photo! I kept it together and didn't cry, although, it was a totally bittersweet day. I just kept reminding Avery of how much daddy and I love her. And I never refused her when she wanted me to hold her today! I just keep thinking about how much I love Avery and how she has totally changed my life. That sweet girl is the most precious gift and she has fulfilled my life in an amazing way.



I know that the blessing and the love is only going to multiply with the birth of this new precious one.

We're all checked in to the hospital, IV is started and we're looking forward to meeting our baby girl very soon. Thanks to our friends and family for your love, support and prayers over the next hours. We're so blessed!
