7 months.

Already? Another month older? Wow. September disappeared. We had a busy month. The highlight of which was our family vacation to Arizona. Hopefully more to come about that in the near-ish future. But for now...let's looks at my beautiful baby, ok!?

I just can't believe how much she's growing. It's amazing to watch her learn and change and develop. In just a short month she's accomplished so much. We are "enjoying" our veggies. She definitely prefers the orange ones over the green ones and squash is her absolute favorite. I've enjoyed making her food - something new for me as a second time mommy. It's really super easy and so so so inexpensive. I'm looking forward to starting in on fruits soon. We also introduced a sippy cup this week. Which is mostly used for teething purposes, but it's a start.

While on vacation, Miss Riley's first tooth appeared - the bottom right. I know this more by feeling than by seeing, but trust this breastfeeding mama...it's there. And sharp. Ouch.
 

 I've known since early on in Riley's little lifetime that she is much more serious than her older sister. She really studies things and examines them. She takes it all in in her own quiet way. It's so fun watching her learn more about the world around her.

 This past month she's learned to enjoy play time more. She's often content to sit and play with toys and books and blocks. She loves playing the little piano and dumping the blocks out of the shape sorter.

I don't have words to describe how absolutely delightful, melt-my-heart-amazing, it is to watch the friendship and love blossom between my girls. The shared giggles and squeals are exactly what I hoped for from the moment I knew we were giving Avery a sister. It's perfect (well...I'll be honest...when it's not screaming and hitting and crying...it's perfect!)
