This week, Braxton planted grass seed in the back yard with the help of Miss Avery. Hoping for some good rain and warm temps to get things growing!
(I was really glad to see Avery and her daddy enjoying some time together. Avery's had some hard days recently adjusting to mom being so distracted by baby sister. At the dinner table this week we asked Avery what the best part of her day was and she answered, "When daddy went to work!" Ouch. Glad they spent some quality time together.)
Speaking of growing...I can't believe how much both of my kiddos have grown recently.
I don't know if it's just because she's a big sister now or almost three, but Avery just looks so big to me all of a sudden. She's loosing that round, baby face and looking like such a big kid.
And where have the past four weeks gone!? Can't believe Riley will soon be a month old. In so many ways, it feels like just a few days, but when I think back to Riley's birth and being pregnant - that seems like forever ago! How'd I'd get so lucky to have two beautiful girls!?
