But mostly because Wednesdays are our mommy and me days. Big sis goes to school on Wednesdays, so Riley and I have 5 hours of cuddle, snuggle, giggle time.
I try to spend that time doing things with her that I don't get to do often. Things like reading books, rocking and singing songs, having tummy time and taking a nap cuddled up with my little peanut.
Probably most of the pictures I've taken of Riley have been taken on a Wednesday. Let's face it, with two kiddos you just don't have the time to do all the things you did with the first one, so we use Wednesday to make up for that.
Occassionally we squeeze in some much needed house cleaning or grocery shopping, but for the most part I try to spend some quality one on one time with my youngest.
Don't get me wrong. I miss Avery when she's gone to school, but having these few hours each week to focus on Riley is wonderful and we're always happy and ready to pick up big sister - who greets us with big hugs and kisses and proudly shows off her baby sister to her classmates and teachers.
